The Jingle GX UCI Gravel World Series Race

and

The Craft Beer & Poker Jingle Cross Gravel Grinder

Amana, Iowa

We have 2 great gravel events during the Jingle GX Gravel weekend August 6 and 7, 2022, both starting and finishing in the German themed historic Amana Colonies in Amana, Iowa!

August 6, 2022: Join us for the Jingle GX Gravel Race, part of the all new UCI Gravel World Series; a select series of 15 gravel races around the world to determine a true World Champion in all age categories. This fondo style event will have age categories for both men and women which will serve as qualifying event for the UCI World Championships held later this year in Tuscany, Italy. All participants who place in the top 25% of their respective age category will qualify for the first UCI Gravel World Championships and eligible to compete in their division in beautiful Tuscany, Italy. Our new course is a challenging course through beautiful Iowa farm land with steep rolling hills, rustic farmland, and the historic Amana Colonies. This race is a self-sufficient gravel race by age category with mechanics stations about every 25 km.

On Sunday, October 1August 7, our second event will be entirely recreational with the return of the 75 km Jingle Cross Craft Beer and Poker Gravel Grinder. This event – previously held as part of the Jingle Cross Cyclocross festival in Iowa City – has been redesigned with an all new course with a leisure ride to sample fine craft beer selections from Iowa’s best local breweries. Collect poker cards at each stop for a chance to win some great swag.

Jingle GX Oktoberfest

Holidays collide! Upon your return to Amana on both days, relax to live music, DJs and our unique Amana style Oktoberfest. We will have free on-site showers, free bike valet, and plenty of beer, wine and great food from local food vendors! Stay in Amana at the full service RV Park, one of the quaint Amana hotels, or fine hotels just 15 minutes away in nearby Coralville, Cedar Rapids, or Iowa City for the weekend. This is THE “Don’t Miss” gravel cycling event of the year in North America!
